Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

 


We chose to use this site because it had exactly what me and my teammate need to aid in designing our title sequence. This site provides an incredible variety and assortment of various title sequences. This site includes the title sequences of various acclaimed and well known movies. However, the site does not fail to provide examples from indie flicks which may provide much different design aspects. This will be greatly useful for me and my teammate in designing our own title sequence. That is because it essentially provides countless references for me and my teammate to analyze. By viewing the various examples and popular designs of various title sequences me and my teammate can create an outline to follow in creating our own. This site also provides video interviews of various title designers. By being able to see their expression and hear their voice it is much easier to understand which design choices they find more favorable. Not just telling us why they do what they do but by being able to see their reactions it puts greater emphasis on their words. This will help us by using the the design choices these designers truly favor and using them in our own sequence.

 Hey Blog. I've been working up ideas for my commercial and I actually started gathering some footage. I really love exercise and especially going to the gym and I figured that the best course was to gather new footage instead of using old ones simply because the quality would be much better and my strength and technique has changed drastically. But I think I might add some old videos to compare to now so I have something intriguing for my audience showing my growth and progress. A few days ago I went to the gym with some friends of mine to gather some footage but we didn't end up gathering much it was our first time lifting together in a while and to be honest we got side tracked. Production Blog: Planning, gathering footage for the first few scenes

 Hey blog. This week I will start to gather footage for me and my teammates music video. This week I'm really going to focus on gathering footage for the first few scenes. The first scenes are split between the three of us. I need a sequence of me waking up early, preparing myself breakfast or a protein shake. I also need footage of me going for a morning jog. The overall plan isn't over complicated but the only issue is the time of day we want to shoot. We all agree that the dark of the night or early morning really fits the theme perfectly. In our video we are trying to translate the mindset of fitness and exercise. The mentality you need to be great. The music and the dark along with the message we're trying to convey. The mentality it takes has a certain intensity. It's almost as if there's a weight in your mind and you feel this drive to push yourself.
