Planning Blog: Title Design

 

The opening credits of my film will appear in a bold/modern font in various corners of the screen and appear to "jump" into view. Credits will be all appear this way. 

  • Working Title: The title of this film is likely to be "It Follows"
  • It will be in the Verdana Font presented in all Caps: SUCH AS THIS
  • Titles will appear to "jump" on the screen. They will arrive suddenly in various corners of the screen and disappear just as suddenly as if they "jump" off the screen
  • titles will only appear for 3 seconds each
  • Many scenes will be in a dark setting however the fonts will be black and red with red used to represent the titles themselves. It will appear like this: DIRECTED BY: LANCE REYES

 Hey Blog. I've been working up ideas for my commercial and I actually started gathering some footage. I really love exercise and especially going to the gym and I figured that the best course was to gather new footage instead of using old ones simply because the quality would be much better and my strength and technique has changed drastically. But I think I might add some old videos to compare to now so I have something intriguing for my audience showing my growth and progress. A few days ago I went to the gym with some friends of mine to gather some footage but we didn't end up gathering much it was our first time lifting together in a while and to be honest we got side tracked. Production Blog: Planning, gathering footage for the first few scenes

 Hey blog. This week I will start to gather footage for me and my teammates music video. This week I'm really going to focus on gathering footage for the first few scenes. The first scenes are split between the three of us. I need a sequence of me waking up early, preparing myself breakfast or a protein shake. I also need footage of me going for a morning jog. The overall plan isn't over complicated but the only issue is the time of day we want to shoot. We all agree that the dark of the night or early morning really fits the theme perfectly. In our video we are trying to translate the mindset of fitness and exercise. The mentality you need to be great. The music and the dark along with the message we're trying to convey. The mentality it takes has a certain intensity. It's almost as if there's a weight in your mind and you feel this drive to push yourself.
