Group Blog - FT

Hey blog, I will be working on this project with my partner Kevin. Kevin is a very good friend of mine and we had already worked on quite a few projects together in before in the past. Me and Kevin are currently choosing to work with anyone else simply because we have learned in the past that the more people that are involved in a project the more that can go wrong. For instance there were quite a few times that due to scheduling issues footage for projects couldn't be shared on time. Instances also occurred where group members couldn't make it to shooting locations on the dates we had scheduled. With just 2 people working on this project there are essentially much fewer moving parts that can fail and cause setbacks. Also as stated before, me and Kevin have worked on projects together. because of this I'm much more used to working with him and we have a much better sense of each others work ethic and skills. He is also a close friend so naturally we work well together. Kevin will most likely do much of the acting and submission work. I will most likely do much of the camera work as well as be in charge of the editing process. When it comes to the actual concept, design, and planning of the project both e and Kevin will discuss these aspects. The music and sound design will likely be more in Kevin's hands. He had chose the sound design for the last 2 projects and I trust his decisions. I will likely do majority of the writing however, I have always been a strong writer and I am typically better with words. Costume design will likely be both me and Kevin considering this project will be unlike the previous ones as in this one the characters are not us. Or at least us in personality. Me and Kevin will both do research on the various aspects needed for our project. All in all I chose to work with Kevin for a few reasons mainly because we had already worked together on projects in the past. I really think we work well together and I think he's the best choice for getting this project done on time and of quality.
