Production Blog: Filming, gathering group footage

Hey blog. I have some exciting news to share with you all. Me and my teammates have gathered the footage for the rest of our music video. We went to different location to film because we think it will look more appealing having different backgrounds. We filmed ourselves doing different activities such as jogging, running, pull ups, and push ups. However, we did include footage of us doing more standard beach things like swimming, sun bathing, playing volleyball, and just having fun. We did this because we want to communicate the message that fitness exists outside of the gym. You don't need weights and a gym to stay fit and in shape. We also gathered footage at the gym of us working out. Because of schedule issues we've decided to film in our own respective gyms. I will be performing the deadlift of 300lbs. I'm sure I can go heavier since I have deadlifted 350lbs in the past but the heavier I go the higher risk of injury I face. 300lbs is heavy enough to challenge me and I think  it will look fine in the video since it is an intense lift. Kevin will be performing the bench press, and Julian will be doing the squat. All free weight no assist to show the proper form and technique, but this is why we aren't going too heavy. We will also each be doing an exercise that highlights our favorite muscle groups. For example, my chest in my most developed muscle group. So I will be performing exercises such as the bench press and its variations, chest flies, and push ups. Kevin's back is his dominant muscle group, so he will perform exercises such as the pull up, lat pull down, and cable rows. Julian's dominant muscle group is his biceps and shoulders. So he will perform exercises such as the bicep cable curl, EZ curl bar, and lateral raise.
