Production Blog

Hey blog. So as of right now I'm in my planning stage for my commercial. I have a general idea of what it will be but I'm not exactly sure what the format will be like. I will either make it a more standard and straight forward introducing myself and my interests with my voice. Or creating a more collage style commercial that represents me without me having to say anything at all.  I definitely want to include my own footage to make it a more personal commercial. I'm definitely going to edit it on my phone so that I can work on it no matter where I go and considering how unpredictable life can be. I think it this will only help the process. For a sound I don't think I'm going to include any audio from the videos since I wasn't focusing on what it sounded like and more of what it looked like. Sometimes the gym was quiet and other times music was blasting or me and my friends were talking about nonsense. I'm debating whether or not I want to add footage that isn't related to the gym since it is about me in general. But I feel this will make the commercial too long and I won't be able to find a sound that will fit the length I need. Also the majority of my photos and videos are in the gym anyways so the commercial would be oversaturated. It's a lot harder than I expected trying to imagine what my commercial will look like. I'm most likely going to choose whatever kind of format or template is easiest while also being appealing. I'm going to look through my camera roll for some potential footage and photos I can add. Since I haven't decided whether or not my commercial will be entirely about the gym. I'll simply choose any photos and videos that represent me as a person. I'll definitely have to edit each video to make the commercial a reasonable length but I'll have to be extra careful I cut the video at the right time so it looks clean. I don't wanna add any elaborate transitions I think if I keep it simple the commercial will flow better. That's all I have for now see you in my next update.
