Production Blog

Hey Blog. I've been working up ideas for my commercial and I actually started gathering some footage. I really love exercise and especially going to the gym and I figured that the best course was to gather new footage instead of using old ones simply because the quality would be much better and my strength and technique has changed drastically. But I think I might add some old videos to compare to now so I have something intriguing for my audience showing my growth and progress. A few days ago I went to the gym with some friends of mine to gather some footage but we didn't end up gathering much it was our first time lifting together in a while and to be honest we got side tracked. Afterwards wasn't exactly productive either we went to this 7/11 down the street and got slushies and candy, so not exactly the ideal things to eat after a workout session. We planned on getting some footage on the beach because we were playing volleyball and sports are a large part of fitness and exercise but of course it had to start raining. In general the day wasn't the most productive but we had a great time and we're planning on gathering some good footage very soon. I want to include some friend of mine to make my commercial seem more lively and interesting but particularly friends who have been on my fitness journey with me. One of the friends I was with was one of my closest friends Kevin and we agreed to be apart of each others commercials. Kevin has seen great progress throughout the years of his fitness journey. I think it'll be great to include Kevin not only because he's a close friend but because me and him have very different body types and training styles, and goals. Kevin is definitely more of a powerlifter and body builder and trains his strength. Me on the other hand trained majority of my life for athleticism but I've recently been training for aesthetics. We are very different but I think this will add more intrigue to my commercial and showing our progress in before and after pics will add a message of positivity and hope for whoever views my commercial by showing real and natural gains and progress from normal teenagers that have normal lives. For editing I think CapCut is honestly my best bet, it's easy to use and pretty affective for what i need. I'll be doing majority of my editing on my phone, it's just easier and easily accessible for me. In conclusion the real work on my commercial has started and so far I've really enjoyed it and I'm excited to continue this journey.
